ABOUT ME
"Adventure is out there!" This quote from Disney Pixar's movie "Up" has become the mantra that guides me through life. I believe adventures can be found in the most unlikely of places. An adventure can be as small as walking to Dairy Queen with your best friend, or something as big as planning a climbing trip in Colorado with your climbing buddies. I am always looking for a new adventure, and new skills to carry me through life.
I have just finished one of the biggest, and most challenging, adventures of my life. I am a recent graduate from Minnesota State University Moorhead with a Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations and Advertising, and a minor in Graphic Communications. I have learned new skills, collaborated with different groups of people, and worked on countless different projects. If I didn't know how to do something, I learned. If I didn't do something right, I learned from my mistakes. I never stop learning no matter what I do, and I am always seeking new knowledge or skills in everything I do.
Even though I can not see what the future holds, I believe a career in advertising, marketing, project management, or design is my next great adventure. I have the skills I need to succeed, and I have no doubt that I will continue to learn everyday. That's what's so beautiful about my field of work. It will give me a chance to continue to learn, and each day will bring a new adventure.
